First pass by you to your hotel at 8:45 and then board our bus and we can started our tour by the beautiful Sacred Valley Tour, where you can visit beautiful places like:
Tipon Cusco:
It is a great grow room containing 12 impressive terraces that are now grown, whose walls were built with carved stones, as we can also see circular terraces in Maras Moray.
More impressive is the irrigation system that even today continues to serve in the agriculture of the area.
The National Archaeological Complex covers an area of approximately 2200 hectares.
Pikillaqta Cusco:
Presents characteristics of a large urban center for the time of the Wari empire, empire that developed before the Incas.
In this place we can find over a thousand buildings between squares, colcas (food stores), houses, temples, streets long, narrow buildings that took up to 4 stories high and all this surrounded with a wall in some places reach 12
feet high.
On the way you can have a wonderful view of Lake Wakarpay which lies at an altitude of approximately 3200 meters. (10500 feet).
“Pikillaqta” is a compound Quechua word meaning “lousy town” (piki = louse; llaqta = town).
Andahuaylillas Cusco:
Typical Andean village of colonial time whit an original and unique architecture.
Andahuaylillas highlight in his Catholic church of colonial time with a beautiful decoration and wall painting of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries was the masterpiece of Cusco School.
This beautiful chapel is similar in decor to the Sistine Chapel in Italy that is the resound why it is known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco.
The return we pass through Saylla, Cusco’s typical village where you can enjoy the delicious pork rinds typical of this area (optional). We will be returning to Cusco for approximately 2:00 pm.
